Victorian solid silver Teapot London 1849.
An attractive solid silver teapot which is hallmarked for London 1849. The silversmiths mark is indistinct. There are garlands of flowers and swags around the body of the teapot and a vacant cartouche to the front.
It is a two to three cup teapot.
It is in good condition and fit for purpose. There are some very minor dings, typical with a used piece that is nearly 200 years old.
It measures 9.5 inches or 24 centimeters from handle to spout.
It has a weight of 460 grams.
