We have for sale a truly lovely Edwardian arts and crafts/art nouveau milk jug by the excellent silversmith Charles Edwards.

This is a jug that combines in its striking design elements of the arts and crafts and art nouveau movements. The jug has a planished bowl on three legs extending organically towards a angular handle in the form of a branching twig with each branch terminating with a laterally positioned leaf on the upper side of the body. The jug carries full English hallmarks for London 1908 along with the makers marks for Charles Edwards.

The jug is 2 inches (5.1cm) high, 3 inches (7.6cm) in Diameter, 4.25 inches (10.8)from spout to handle and weighs 109.8g (3.5 troy ounces). The jug is in a very good condition although the hallmarks and makers marks are rubbed but easily legible.
