We have the perfect gift for an AE Jones collector, a charming arts and crafts lidded mustard made by AE Jones for G L Connell of Cheapside London.

This very attractive planished silver mustard is in the form of a of miniature footed three handled quaich. The mustard carries full English Hallmarks for Birmingham 1911 along with the makers marks for G L Connell of Cheapside London. The mustard is being sold with an attractive white metal (probably un-hall marked silver)mustard spoon.

GL connell was know to have had his arts and crafts silver made by William Hutton and AE Jones. This particular piece is almost identical to a recognised AE Jones design although the finial is a little bit different from the standard AE Jones marked examples.

The mustard is 3.25 inches (8.3cm) in diameter from handle to handle, 1.75 inches (4.4cm) high to top of finial and weighs 61.18g according to our digital scales. The mustard is in a good antique condition.
