We have the pleasure of being able to offer this lovely Edwardian Silver Salver.

The silver salver is carries a lovely decorative central engraved decoration within which there is a vacant cartouche. The salver has beautiful scrolled, Rococo style border and is set on three lovely scrolled bracket feet. The front of the tray carries worn but easily legible hallmarks for Sheffield 1901 and makers marks for the very good English silversmiths Walker & Hall. The reverse of the salver is also marked Walker & Hall Sheffield England with the Walker and Hall flag and the serial number 53641.

The salver is in a good antique condition with a patina consisting of surface scratches consistent with well over 100 years of reasonably careful use. There are however one or two very minor impressions. The tray is 12 inches in diameter and weighs approximately 24½oz.
