A really superb,heavy gauge George ll Silver Salver with Scroll and Shell border,original engraved central blank Cartouche, bordered with bunches of Grapes and Leaves,raised on scrolled feet. It is 12" Diameter and is hallmarked for London 1750. Please note the Hallmarks are underneath and within the very deep repousse work and are difficult to photograph clearly. There is what appears to me a Makers mark which can be seen in photograph. I am listed as a Private Dealer but some of my Stock can be viewed at The Antique Shop, 53, High Street Heathfield E.Sussex.If you wish, I am am able meet you there to discuss any items and also bring along any items which are not on Antiques Atlas but not displayed in the Shop.
