Stunning Pair Edwardian Silver Gilt Serving Spoons

A very pretty pair of silver dessert serving spoons with gilded scalloped bowls with lovely embossed neoclassical details. The handles have trefid shape ends and are finely cast with scrolls, delicate foliage and acanthus leaves moulded to form a vacant cartouche. Hallmarked for Sheffield 1910, makers Mappin & Webb. They come in their original fitted, silk and velvet lined case with a retailer mark also for Mappin & Webb.
They measure 22cm (8 5/8") long and 5cm (2") wide and they weigh a total of 141g / 4.5ozt.
Condition is excellent with no damage or repair and very minor handling wear. The case is also in excellent condition with no marks or faults to the inside, and only minor wear to the leather.
