Silver Anointing Spoons Edward VII Queen Alexandr
Set of Silver Spoons Commemorating the Coronation of Edward VII & Queen Alexandra 1902
This is a very attractive boxed set of silver and enamel anointing spoons. They are in nice condition for their age, with very fine and decorative detail to the bowls and the handles are very delicately twisted and enamelled with blue, green and white enamel.
Originally the spoons had a gilt finish, one of them is still has but the others look like most of the gold has been polished away
The spoons comes fully hallmarked: Levi & Salaman - Birmingham - 1901
Each spoon measures: 9.5 cm long and the set weighs in total: 49.3 grams.
The box is original and it is lined with age darkened beige velvet and satin it does show signs of wear
