Pair Of Georgian Silver Table Salts London 1817
Pretty pair of George IV silver table salts with gilt interiors. Attractive trough shape with fluted collet foot and gadrooned rim. Hallmarked for London 1825, maker Richard Pearce.
The measure 10cm (3 15/16") long, 8cm (3 1/8") wide and 4cm (1 5/8") high and weigh 204g / 6.6ozt. Condition is very good with no dents or repairs. There is a little wear to the gilding on one but they have been previously matched with a well fitting pair of period blue glass liners to enable them to still be used without concern over contact between the silver and the salt. The hallmarks are slightly rubbed but fully legible and surface wear is very light otherwise. Payment is accepted by bank transfer, card payments (via an online invoice, I'm afraid we cannot take payments over the telephone), Paypal and UK personal cheque. If you prefer to pay by Stripe please go to our website where we offer that option and additionally options to "Pay in 30 days" and to pay in 3 instalments, all securely supported.
Price includes UK shipping. Worldwide shipping is also available, please ask for a cost.
We wish to ensure all our customers are happy with their purchases and offer a full no quibble return policy for all items returned within 14 days. We ask that returns are notified within 7 days where possible. Return postage is the buyer's responsibility in terms of cost and safeguarding the item through transit.
