Solid Silver Miniature Sauce, Melted Butter, Gravy Boat.
These little melted butter boats are quite rare. This one is hallmarked for London 1901, and the makers C.B & S.
It has a Chippendale edge, a reeded handle, and pad feet.
The boat measures 6.5 cm from the top of the handle to the base of the foot and 5.2 cm from the top of the lip to the base of the foot. 8.8 cm from the end of the lip, across to the handle.
The weight is 31.74 grams.
Good condition with no dings or dents. Areas of tarnish as shown. Overall, a delightful little butter boat that will grace any dining table or collection.
