George VI Silver Vinaigrette John Bettridge
Very sweet little George IV silver vinaigrette by John Bettridge, hallmarked for Birmingham 1821. Gilded inside with a simply pierced grill. The outside has 2 beautifully engraved panels set up on bevelled edges. One side has a wiggle pattern surrounding a blank cartouche with bright cut engraved fine lined texture and dotted border. The other has a little flower in the centre of some geometric crossed bands.
It measures 1" by 3/4" and 3/8" deep and weighs 9.3g. Condition is very good with light surface wear from age and use.
Payment is accepted by bank transfer, card payments (via an online invoice, I'm afraid we cannot take payments over the telephone), Paypal and UK personal cheque.
