A lovely, hardly used, solid silver dish in its original case. Assayed in Sheffield in 1995 by the silversmiths Garrard and Sons who were jewellers to the crown. The crisp hallmarks can be seen within the bowl.
A quality fluted design it would look impressive with nuts or sweets in it at Christmas. It would also make a good Christmas, 25th anniversary or wedding present.
It measures 20 centimeters or 8 inches diameter and weighs an impressive 341 grams.
