Art Deco Preserve Pot with HM Silver Lid, 1925

This is a delightful little glass preserve pot with a hallmarked sterling silver lid and handle dating to 1925. It has the clean lines and precise line decoration typical of Art Deco which was very much coming into vogue in the mid-twenties. It's a perfect size for holding jam or marmalade on a breakfast tray or at the table.
The glass is handblown and the pontil mark has been neatly ground away to form a small dimple in the base. There are a few small bubbles in the glass as is nearly always the case with handblown glass.
The silver lid and handle are in very good condition with no dents and just a very minimal amount of wear, as you would expect after 95 years of use. The hinge is in good working order.
The pot is 6.5cm high and 7.4cm in diameter across the base. It weighs 252g.
There are two sets of hallmarks. The set on the rim has the lion passant for Sterling Silver, the anchor assay mark for Birmingham and the date letter "A" for 1925. There is a makers' mark but it is quite rubbed and I have been unable to identify it. It looks like it might be WWH but I can't find that in any of the references, so it may well be something else. There is a partial set on the underside of the lid with the lion passant for Sterling Silver and the date letter "A" for 1925.
