William IV Silver Four Piece Tea and Coffee Set by William Hewitt, London,1836
This pretty set is in very good condition with no damage or restoration. Each piece has a full set of clear and matching English silver hallmarks.
The silver melon shaped Teapot, Coffee Pot, Sugar Bowl and Milk Jug have fine quality deep and crisp embossed decoration of flowers and foliage they each stand on a shaped pedestal foot. The teapot and Coffee Pot have a handsome pheasant finial, the jug and bowl have the original gilt interior
A wonderful rare set
The coffee Pot is 9.5” high, the tea pot is 12” from handle to the end of the spout, and 7” wide
