A lovely Victorian Silver Gilt Fruit Knife in original Retailers Leather bound and velvet lined Box.It is serpentine shape and allover engraved on each side with Blank Shield Cartouche on front and Flowers and Leaves on reverse.The Gilding is still very bright and it appears to have been little used.Full Hallmarks for Sheffield 1863 by Thomas Marples. 8.2cms closed., 14.2cms open. I am listed as a Private Dealer but some of my Stock can be viewed at The Antique Shop, 53, High Street Heathfield E.Sussex.If you wish, I am am able meet you there to discuss any items and also bring along any items which are not on Antiques Atlas but not displayed in the Shop.
