Masonic Silver Tea Strainer Carbon Lodge 1930 Carbon Lodge Masonic Silver Tea Strainer %%alt5%%
We have for sale a rather lovely art deco silver tea strainer by Walker and Hall, dating to 1930 carrying an inscription for Carbon Lodge No 2910

This very attractive tea strainer consists of a circular inverted domed body decorated by beautifully piercing in the form of a snowflake. The body then extends to two lovely art deco handles. The body caries full English hallmarks for Birmingham 1930, along with the makers marks for Walker and Hall. The body is also engraved Carbon Lodge No 2910.

Carbon Masonic Lodge was founded in 1902, and continues to meet in Camden, Great Queen street, London.

The tea strainer is 4.5 inches (11.5cm) wide from handle to handle and weighs 30g. The tea strainer is in an excellent barely used condition with crisp hallmarks consistant with a lifetime spent in a display cabinet.
