Stunning silver inkwell of capstan form with an unusual sleek, slim design. Hallmarked to the reverse outside, lid and inside the well for London 1919 maker Charles Boyton & Sons. Technically pre-deco but clearly leaning that way, a very stylish item, perfect for use or display. Fitted with a blue glass liner.

It measures 12.7cm (5") wide by 3.8cm (1 1/2") high. It weighs 321.8g but has a weighted base. It weighs 321.8g with a weighted base. Condition is excellent with no damage or dents and very light surface wear. The marks on the outside are a bit rubbed, the others are fine and clear.
