Unusual Antique English Silver Plated Egg Cruet
A most unusual late Victorian Egg Cruet for Six with a long rectangular stand with six pins to fix the six egg cups. Each cup is pierced or reticulated with a beaded rim decoration and a complimentary beaded decoration on the foot of each egg cup.
The six egg spoons stand in their individual cut-outs creating a dramatic and very decorative display.
The underside of the stand is signed by the well renowned Sheffield silversmith, Atkinson Brothers.
Excellent condition, the stand measuring 12 1/4" x 3 1/4" and standing 7" tall to top of integral handle. Dating to around 1900, late Victorian or Edwardian.
