A superb fully hallmarked Italian 800 silver powder compact. This mid-century compact is suitable for use with Max Factor Creme Puff, CCUK, Miss Beauty and Rimmel Stay Matte. This vanity was made especially for use with standard size 67 mm diameter pans of pressed face powder. Pretty bright-cut engravings adorn the exterior case. The compact is in excellent condition. The interior is stamped with the maker's hallmark & also the 800 silver mark. The mirror gives a good clear reflection. The catch and hinge work perfectly. An immaculate pouch and luxury face puff are included with this compact. Measures almost 2 2/3" and weighs 52.6 grams.
