An enchantingly beautiful antique hallmarked silver loose powder compact which would make an ideal 25th (silver) anniversary gift. The lid and base of this Italian silver compact are adorned with a central flower basket containing six flowers. Ornate engravings cover the whole exterior. A delightful heart shape can be seen on each side. Such a romantic gift! The mirror gives a good and accurate reflection. The compact is hallmarked 800 ITALY. The hinge and catch work exactly as they should. The original sifter gauze is present. A pristine pouch is included. Measures 6.7 cm x 6.5 cm. Weighs 59.9 grams. The compact is in very good condition.

This compact is suitable for use as a handbag mirror or as a compact mirror for loose foundation.
