Georgian Style 10" Square Silver Salver Comyns
A very stylish George II style silver salver of square form with incurved corners and simple reeded edge. Nice stepped shaped feet matching the curve of the corners shows the art deco influence. Hallmarked for London 1932, maker Richard Comyns (William Comyns & Sons Ltd).
It measures 25.3cm (10") wide and 2cm (13/16") high and weighs 777g/25.0ozt. Condition is very good with no dents or repairs but there is some light surface wear. There are a scattering of small light surface marks and the surface overall is appropriately finely scratched from use. Payment is accepted by bank transfer, card payments (via an online invoice, I'm afraid we cannot take payments over the telephone), Paypal and UK personal cheque.
