Georgian Silver Wine Funnel Stand John Emes 1799
An attractive George III silver wine funnel stand with kicked up centre with stepped sides leading to a decorative reeded rim. Hallmarked for London 1799, maker John Emes.
It measures 10.2cm (4") wide and 1cm (3/8") high and weighs 66g / 2.1ozt. The inner steps mean it will accommodate funnels of 7.5cm and 8.5cm diameter. Condition is very good: there is a small section on the underside to the layer below the rim that has been cut away which looks deliberate. No damage or repairs and light surface wear.
(Wine funnel shown in last photo is for illustration only) Payment is accepted by bank transfer, card payments (via an online invoice, I'm afraid we cannot take payments over the telephone), Paypal and UK personal cheque. If you prefer to pay by Stripe please go to our website where we offer that option and additionally options to "Pay in 30 days" and to pay in 3 instalments, all securely supported.
Price includes UK shipping. Worldwide shipping is also available, please ask for a cost.
We wish to ensure all our customers are happy with their purchases and offer a full no quibble return policy for all items returned within 14 days. We ask that returns are notified within 7 days where possible. Return postage is the buyer's responsibility in terms of cost and safeguarding the item through transit.
