George IV Silver Gilt Port Label Charles Rawlings
A fine Georgian silver gilt wine label for "Port", oval shape with gadrooned border intersected with scallop shells. Fitted with a silver gilt chain. Hallmarked London 1827, maker Charles Rawlings.
It measures 4.4cm (1 3/4") by 2.5cm (1") and weighs 14g / 0.5ozt.
In excellent condition with minimal handling wear.
There is another matching one for Sherry available also.
