Superb large George IV silver soup ladle in the fiddle pattern by William Chawner II with Hanoverian drop. A small monogram to the handle and hallmarked to the reverse for London 1828.

It measures 13 1/2" long and the bowl is 4" by 3 3/8" wide and 1 1/4" deep. It weighs a substantial 261g/8.4ozt. Condition is excellent with no damage or dents and light surface wear, good and appropriate for age and use. Payment is accepted by bank transfer, card payments (via an online invoice, I'm afraid we cannot take payments over the telephone), Paypal and UK personal cheque.
