Edwardian Silver Vesta Case Joseph Gloster 1909
Here we have for sale an extremely attractive early twentieth century Edwardian period hallmarked silver vesta case of shaped rectangular form, with lovely hand engraved foliate decoration, a shield shaped cartouche which free of any monogram & loop ring for a chain.

Condition report:
In very good condition for its age of 117 years, with minor surface scratches and tarnish marks plus the odd very tiny dint, the lid wobbles a little but the hinge appears to be in good order and the lid closes firmly, the hallmarks are crisp and legible. Overall a lovely example.
This vesta would make the perfect gift for a loved one or a treat for yourself, a marvelous addition to your silver collection.
