Decorated front and back with Reynold's Angels.
Reynold's Angels is the name given to a painting by Sir Joshua Reynolds first exhibited in 1787. It shows five different angles of the head of five year old Lady Frances Gordon. It captured the imagination of silversmiths around the turn of the 20th century who used it to decorate their silverware.

Tan leather interior in great condition and the two pockets are ideal for business and/or credit cards.
There is an insert for notes.
The pencil does not contain any lead and I cannot open it.
There are surface marks on the silver associated with normal use and age. There are several very small dings and one small ding on the front which does show up on the photos.
The hinge is in very good condition as is the clasp which holds the case firmly shut.
Approximate dimensions: 10.5cm x 8cm, weight 110 grams.
