Asprey & Co Silver Cigarette Case
A quality large antique Silver Cigarette / Cigar Box made by Asprey & Co London 1922. Engine turned with leaf design border, concave sides, all supported on four bun feet.
Clearly hallmarked on lid and base London 1922. Makers Mark A & Co Ltd
Dimensions are 27cm x 18cm x 9cm
Cedar lined. Box interior depth 2 1/4" / 5.5cms x length 8.5" / 21cms x width 5" / 13cms so big enough for cigars, cigarettes or antique jewellery.
Underside of box lined with black leatherette
Gross weight including cedar lining 1615gms / 57oz
Excellent condition, commensurate with age - see photographs for details
A rare design by a quality maker that would grace any desk, coffee table, sideboard or dressing table.
