This is a beautiful Antique Sterling Silver Milk or Cream Jug, perfect for serving milk, cream or sauces.

It was made by James Dixon & Sons Ltd. It was Hallmarked in Sheffield in 1890.

It’s made of beautifully shiny Sterling Silver. It has a pretty lined pattern to the sides and an elegant handle.

The base has the Maker’s Mark and Hallmarks. It also has Sorley Silversmiths Glasgow stamped on the base so it was most likely initially for sale there after it was made in 1890. It also has 4632, V3451 and 2 - 15oz imprinted.

It’s in good condition with a little tarnish, particularly in the pattern. There is one very tiny dent on one side but this is barely noticeable.

It weighs 63.7g.

It measures 8.7cm to the highest point on the handle (3 1/2 inches).

Delivery Estimates

Orders placed in the UK are sent by Royal Mail Tracked 48 or Special Delivery depending on the order value. Special Delivery is next working day before 1pm.

Royal Mail's delivery aim is 3-5 working days to Europe and 6-7 working days to the rest of the world. Please note some countries still have delays to their mail services due to Covid-19.

At busy times such as Christmas items can take longer to be delivered. Items may also be delayed in Customs, and although this doesn't happen often it can hold up a delivery.

Beeches Vintage is not responsible for delays in delivery once an order is dispatched.

Returns
We want you to be happy with your purchase so we offer a money back guarantee (less original postage costs) on all orders. A request to return an item needs to be made within 3 days of receiving
the order.

Items must be returned in the same condition as purchased and are sent back at the buyer's cost.
Refunds are issued when the item is received by us.
