This is a lovely Antique Sterling Silver Spoon from the early 1800s. It’s a great collector’s item and would be a great spoon to use for serving food or as a dessert spoon.

It was made by Mary Chawner and it was Hallmarked in London in 1835. The Hallmarks and maker’s mark are clearly imprinted on the back of the handle.

The spoon is dessert spoon sized. It has a pretty fiddle pattern handle which was very popular in the Georgian era. At the top of the handle it has initials elaborately engraved.

It’s heavy for it’s size, weighing 51.9g.

Orders placed in the UK are sent by Royal Mail Tracked 48 or Special Delivery depending on the order value. Special Delivery is next working day before 1pm.

Royal Mail's delivery aim is 3-5 working days to Europe and 6-7 working days to the rest of the world. Please note some countries still have delays to their mail services due to Covid-19.

At busy times such as Christmas items can take longer to be delivered. Items may also be delayed in Customs, and although this doesn't happen often it can hold up a delivery.

Beeches Vintage is not responsible for delays in delivery once an order is dispatched.

We want you to be happy with your purchase so we offer a money back guarantee (less original postage costs) on all orders. A request to return an item needs to be made within 3 days of receiving

Items must be returned in the same condition as purchased and are sent back at the buyer's cost.
