A Highly Impressive Antique Eel Gleave

19th century, the six pronged wrought iron gleave mounted onto a superb length of tapering antique bamboo.

A fascinating object from a bygone age. This gleave, complete with the antique pole, at 338cms is the longest I've come across and makes for a beautiful, architectural object that would look superb mounted to a wall or long beam.
