Very Fine 18th Century Solid Silver Snuff Box 1785
18TH CENTURY GEORGE III SOLID SILVER SNUFF BOX BY PHIPPS & ROBINSON LONDON 1785
A Very fine 18th Century George III silver snuff box, by Phipps and Robinson, Assayed in London 1785. Of oblong form with flush hinged cover and an oval cartouche. Engraved decoration to hinged cover and initialled. Bright-cut borders. Measures in length 8.5cm, approx. weight troy 2oz.
Overall in excellent condition with no damage dents or repairs. Clear crisp hallmarks and clean gilt interior.
