Maker: John Rose, Hockley Street, Birmingham.
Approximate dimensions: Teapot: weight 775.5 grams, length including handle and spout 30cm, width 12.7cm, height 11cm.
Milk Jug: weight 213.7 grams, length including handle 17cm, width 8.2cm, height 8.6cm.
Sugar Bowl: weight 277.2 grams, length including handles 9cm, height 8.8cm, width 9cm
Total weight 1266.4 grams.
This George V tea set is a very good gauge of silver, very good quality and in excellent condition in keeping with its age and light use.
Each piece carries the full Birmingham 1930 hallmark along with the maker's mark and the tea pot lid has the part hallmark.
The tea pot lid fits well and its hinge is in very good condition.
There are no personal inscriptions.
A superb set from the Art Deco period.
