Stunning 4 Piece Art Deco Silver Tea / Coffee Set


A very stylish 4 piece silver tea set comprising teapot, coffee pot, sugar bowl and cream jug. Each piece of waisted shape with concave fluted walls and set on hoof shape feet. Carved ebony handles and knops on both the pots and simple strap handles on the creamer and sugar.
Hallmarked for Sheffield 1931 (the cream jug 1930), maker Emile Viner (Viner's Ltd).
The coffee pot measures 23.2cm (9 1/8") high, 18.4cm (7 1/4) long and 10.2cm (4") wide. The teapot measures 15 (6 1/8") high, 27.3 (10 3/4") long and 11.5 (4 1/2") wide. The sugar is 9.5cm (3 3/4") high, 18.7cm (7 3/8") wide and 8.8cm (3 1/2") deep and the cream jug is 10cm (3 7/8") high, 8.3cm (3 1/4") wide and 14.6cm (5 3/4") long, handle to spout.
Total weight is 1769g / 56.9ozt.
Condition is excellent with no damage, dents or repairs and very light handling wear.
