This set is a beautiful example of William IV era silver cutlery: the spoon, fork & knife have very ornate and intricate detailing creating a delightful pattern and would look stunning on display in your home.
The details are as follows:
Silversmith: Aaron Hadfield
Assay Office: London (spoon & fork) Sheffield Knife
Date letter: 1832
Pattern: Queen's
Dimensions:
Length: Spoon 16 cm
Length: Fork 15.5 cm
Length: Knife 16 cm
Combined weight: including filled knife handle (blade is silver) 87 grams
Condition report
In overall very good condition considering their age of 190 years with some minor tarnish marks and some age related wear, such as surface scratches - some of which are deeper particularly to the knife handle (plus one tiny dent) and one to the spoon bowl, there is an issue with the spoon, with a small deep cut near to where the bowl meets the handle (please see above photo) the spoon otherwise does not display any significant wear, with crisp decoration, hallmarks and bowl edge.
Please see the above photographs as this forms part of the condition report.
