This is a beautiful Art Deco compact mirror made by in 1945.
The compact is fully hallmarked Birmingham Assay Office.
So Art Deco - a beautiful octagonal compact with an ornate engine turned lid & base.
The whole compact is in excellent condition.
The lid has a cartouche onto which the initials J M are inscribed.
A double thumb catch ensures ease of opening. The mirror is excellent.
An elegant slimline purse mirror that is sure to delight.

This antique silver powder compact measures 2 1/2" X 2 1/2" & weighs 48.3 grams.
