Vintage compacts silver wedding anniversary gifts for her 1942

An ideal gift or handbag mirror. This fully hallmarked sterling silver powder compact was made by Crisford & Norris & assayed in Birmingham in 1942. The lid & base have attractive guilloche engraving. The lid has a silver monogram M set atop. The compact is in good condition with an excellent mirror. All clasps & hinges work perfectly.

This antique compact measures 2 1/2 " & weighs 75 grams.
