A fabulous sterling silver antique jewellery box standing on four very elegant feet with a stunning engine-turned decorated lid surrounding a central circular vacant cartouche.

The hinged lid fits well and has a lovely raised border. The lid opens to reveal the original moss green velvet in good condition. The original gilding is also present on the inside of the lid.

The underside is where the full English hallmark can be found for Birmingham 1910, an Edwardian example. The makers initials are also present for the quality silversmith, Synyer & Beddoes.

The box remains in excellent condition measuring 3 3/4"x 2 1/4" (2 1/2" including the legs) x 1 3/4" tall.
