Silver cocktail purse by C. Green, Birmingham 1917
This exquisite solid silver purse was made in Birmingham 1917 by the reputed silversmiths Charles S. Green & Co. Of conventional form, both sides engraved with foliate scrolls. The clasp opens to reveal the original beautiful green moire silk interior. The interior divided in four compartments. The sides fitted with a chain and suspension ring to allow a lady to hold her purse while holding her cocktail glass.
