Silver Art Deco Napkin Rings James Deakin 1932
For sale this beautiful pair of octagonal engine turned Art Deco hallmarked solid silver napkin rings.
This fine pair of napkin rings are by the well known firm of silversmith James Deakin & Sons and are hallmarked for Chester 1932 and come with the ever important vacant cartouche and beautiful Art Deco engine turned panels with polished sides.
Condition report: In very good condition for their age however they have surface scratches and very light tarnish marks consistent with their over eighty year age. One napkin ring is fractionally misshapen but this is not overly noticeable.
This pair of napkin rings are an excellent example of Art Deco design with the signature features of this movement: the geometric octagonal form, the engine turned decoration and defined border.
Approximate Dimensions:
Weight: 54 Grams (combined weight)
Width 4.5cm
Depth 2.5cm
These napkin rings will make a stunning addition to your silver/Art Deco collection. Any questions please ask.
