A rare Georgian Silver Four Prong Stock Buckle with four 'Studs, one of which has been repaired but is not complete. It is a very old repair as can be seen from photo 5.Hallmarks are still visible are for John Bourne and Thomas Moore c.1770-5. It is understood they decided to work together to make Buckles. Originally Birmingham assay marks were used by John Bourne. An item for The Collector.5.3 x 3cms Max. I am listed as a Private Dealer but some of my Stock can be viewed at The Antique Shop, 53, High Street Heathfield E.Sussex.If you wish, I am am able meet you there to discuss any items and also bring along any items which are not on Antiques Atlas but not displayed in the Shop.
