RARE GEORGE III SILVER GILT & OLD CUT DIAMOND SCENT BOTTLE, CIRCA 1760

A Rare 18th century diamond and silver-gilt mounted tear shaped scent bottle, hinged cover set with an old-cut diamond stone, and chased and engraved with strapwork. The faceted body is decorated in gilt with stars. Measures approx. 11 cm.

Overall for its age this is in very good condition with no cracks or other damage to the glass body. the Hinged Cover is still intact with just a tiny nick just under the hinge, but which does not affect the working of the hinge. Made circa 1760.
