We are selling this lovely quality 19th Century bronze figure group by Belgian sculptor Jan Jozef Jaquet. The subject a bearded gentleman rescuing a woman and two children from the sea. It stands on its original stepped marble base which has a decorative bronze beading around the edge. Jan Jozef Jaquet Belgian 1822-1898. Signed to bronze (as shown in picture).

Measuring length 55 cm (22 inches) x height 64 cm (25 inches) with depth 35 cm (13 1/2 inches), in lovely original condition a stunning piece for any room. Please see all photographs as they form part of description.
