Pretty Art Deco Silver Pedestal Christening Cup
A pretty English silver pedestal cup of round bellied circular form raised on a knopped stem over a stepped foot with pierced decoration of a flowering vine. A curved heavy gauge wire-work handle is inset with a cut out garland of bellflowers. Hallmarked for Chester 1928, makers S. Blanckensee & Sons Ltd. Perfect as a Christening gift.
It measures 10.7cm (4 1/4") wide (8.8cm (3 7/16") rim to rim) and 6.5cm (2 8/16") high to the rim, 7.5cm (3") to the handle. It weighs 76g / 2.4ozt.
In excellent condition with no damage, dents or repairs. Minor handling wear and unengraved. Payment is accepted by bank transfer, card payments (via an online invoice, I'm afraid we cannot take payments over the telephone), Paypal and UK personal cheque.
