Old Sterling Silver Pocket Knife Hallmarked Sheffield 1914
Both blades are in good used condition. I have done some polishing, but they would stand some more.
Both blades are stamped:- Sheffield Made.
The maker`s mark is J.P over &C in a heart shaped cartouche,
for John Pound & Co., Leadenhall Street, London.
The main blade is the stiffer of the two. I have lubed it and it is beginning to snap like the secondary blade.
Includes a suspension loop which would have been for hanging on a watch chain.
Would have, originally, been a presentation piece -
engraved:- Via Eastern.
Both blades open:- 138 millimetres.
Closed:- 65 mms.
Gross weight:- 16.5 grams.
