Pair George II Silver Salvers Gabriel Sleath
Very nice pair of early Georgian silver salvers with ornate scrolled border and set on 3 realistic lion paw feet. Made by fine silversmith Gabriel Sleath. They are attractively engraved with a crest depicting an arm rising out of a crown, the hand grasping a snake, and with a delicate patterned border of flowers and scrolls. Hallmarked for London 1746.
They measure 6 3/4" wide and just under 1" high. They weigh a substantial 567g/18.2ozt combined. Condition is very good there is a very tiny dint to the surface of one and also a very tiny hole in the silver towards the edge, 2mm by 1mm, but it is along the site of a crease and appears original the silver is so thick and the location would make it very unlikely to be later damage. Payment is accepted by bank transfer, card payments (via an online invoice, I'm afraid we cannot take payments over the telephone), Paypal and UK personal cheque. If you prefer to pay by Stripe please go to our website where we offer that option and additionally options to "Pay in 30 days" and to pay in 3 instalments, all securely supported.
Price includes UK shipping. Worldwide shipping is also available, please ask for a cost.
