Norwegian silver spoon, Marius Hammer
This Norwegian silver spoon features a stepped edge bowl, with a combed and engraved "rat tail" design back. The handle is twisted and curled and finished with a ball finial.

The spoon is marked for .830 grade silver and has the maker's mark "MH", which we believe to be Marius Hammer from Bergen. Marius Hammer was born 1847 and died 1927.

The spoon is 9.5 cm (3.7") long, and it weighs 10 grams.

The spoon is in very good condition.
