Mid Century Danish Silver Spoon by Poul C. Lütken
A Danish silver serving spoon by Poul C. Lütken Frigast - 1959 - 21cm long - bowl 8x6cm - 53g - presented in a contemporary retail box marked for Holger Noersgaard - Aarhus. This charming and typical Scandinavian mid-century spoon has echoes of the Art Nouveau and the Georg Jensen in its stylised floral, pierced terminal and its generous oval bowl. To the back are Danish hallmarks for 1959 and maker's mark PF for Poul C. Lütken Frigast.
Excellent. No deformations, splits or other material damage. Minor surface scratching consistent with age and use. Box is fully intact, but has some losses to paper covering and discolouration - see photos.
I trade in small silver, jewellery and objets d'art. I sell primarily at antiques fairs and in cabinets in Christique Antique Centre in Dorking. I try to find unusual and interesting stock and like to keep turning it over, so I can buy more. Postage and packing are free within the UK - unless explicitly stated otherwise. I keep hardly any stock at home, if you want to buy something and need it urgently, I will usually do it the next day, but it may take me some time to respond if you need extra photographs and/or details about the piece that I do not have to hand, as I typically visit the antiques centre just once a week.
