This is a smart Mid-Century Sterling Silver Mustard Spoon in the traditional Old English pattern. There are no initials or personalisation of any kind.
The mustard spoon was made in Sheffield by renowned silversmiths Cooper Brothers & Sons and dates to 1965. The firm was established in 1866 by brothers Thomas & John Cooper, becoming Cooper Brothers & Sons Ltd in 1895. They produced a wide range of silverware and silver plate but are best known for their high quality cutlery and flatware in many different patterns. The business was finally bought out in 1983.
