Very stylish and unusual Norwegian silver tomato server by Marius Hammer. c.1920. A lovely round plate with slight lip rising to a rounded panel attached to a fabulous twisted spiral handle with spherical finial. Super for serving your tomato and mozzarella salad or also for cakes, pastries, fruits etc. Marked to the back HM 830S and the interlinked monogram also.

It measures 23.5cm (9 1/4") long and 8cm (3 1/8") wide and weighs 70g/2.2ozt. Condition is excellent with no damage and just light surface wear. Payment is accepted by bank transfer, card payments (via an online invoice, I'm afraid we cannot take payments over the telephone), Paypal and UK personal cheque.
