Large Edwardian Silver Twin Handled Table Bowl
A good quality large circular silver rose bowl on a stepped pedestal base with a single band running around the middle of the otherwise plain body and finished with a stepped everted rim. Either side are 2 ornate scrolling handles.
Hallmarked for Sheffield 1905, makers James Deakin & Sons (John & William F Deakin).
It measures 23cm (9 1/8") rim to rim, 33cm (13") across the handles and 18.7cm (7 3/8") high to the handles, 15cm (5 7/8") to the rim. It weighs 981g / 31.6ozt. It has a capacity of over 3 litres.
Condition is excellent with no damage or dents and only light surface wear, the top part of the maker's mark is worn but all other marks are clear. Please note, any orders placed now will not be sent out until Monday 09 September. Enquiries will be answered but there may be a delay. Thank you
