An early 20th century Japanese screen with four folding black lacquered panels. Each panel features a female samurai warrior (onna-bugeisha) beautifully decorated in coloured soapstone. The background of the scene features a temple and in the foreground there are floral offerings, also of coloured soapstone. The front of each panel is also bordered by mother of pearl decoration. The rear of the screen has gold painted floral images. This heavy screen is in very good condition. For more images please go to

We can usually arrange delivery throughout the UK and Europe at competitive prices. We use parcel carriers such as DHL and FedEx for smaller pieces and furniture couriers for larger items. The furniture couriers usually provide a ‘one man kerbside service’. The driver will be helpful and try to deliver to your room of choice but assistance may be required. If you think you might require a two - man delivery service just let us know and we will make the necessary arrangements.
Delivery times can vary depending on your location but parcel carriers can usually deliver within a few days and furniture couriers within 7 - 21 days. Furniture couriers will contact you in advance to arrange a convenient delivery time.
